For documentation purposes, field workers can capture images with the device's camera. The image can be included into the servicesheet (internal, external or both). Furthermore, the image can be retrieved by external ERP systems for further processing.

Use the preference compressQualityImage compress the image to a size acceptable for transfer. The default is 100 (%), values below 10 are not accepted.

When sampling the image, OMD Mobile will use the imageSample preference, which defaults to 8, i.e. each 8th pixel is selected for the finally stored image. Values below 8 are not accepted.

The limit of image sample sizes in imageSample can be increased above 8 (e.g. 3), if the preference imageSampleHQ is set to true. Setting this preference is generally not recommended, because the image size (and data traffic) increases accordingly.
