Change quantities and checklist values
The requiresChangedQuantities process flow preference indicates whether the mobile worker must specify the quantities for all planned items of the task with a process flow matching this Mobile UI. If this preference is true, the mobile worker will not be able to finish a task if one or more planned item entries are not yet specified.
The mobile worker can choose to press the "Planned quantities" button to pre-populate the values according to the default settings of the related Mobile UI. Pre-population of quantities does not work for Mobile UIs marked with the "Confirmation Required" flag.

Default Quantities
The mobile app offers a button to set default quantities in Mobile UIs of planned items without entering them. All predefined defaults are expected to provide reasonable values, therefore no rule validation is carried out, when the "Default Quantities" button is pressed. Note that, for Mobile UIs with the flag "Requires Confirmation" enabled, the button has no effect, since the user is expected to enter those screens per definition. However, defaults in those screens will be set as soon as they were entered.
To disable the "Default Quantities" button, set the process flow preference allowDefaultQuantities to false.
